Hoverfly lagoon competition

Unleash your creativity to help hoverflies with a bespoke hoverfly lagoon!

For many hoverflies, there's no better place to grow up than in a water-filled hole in a tree, full of leaves and other delicious decaying matter. But these watery spots aren't always easy to find, especially in our gardens. Luckily, we can create our own! A hoverfly lagoon mimics these natural nurseries, providing the perfect place for many hoverfly larvae to live.
