  • Although often grown in winter bedding schemes, wallflowers, as their name suggests, are well adapted to growing in crevices or on the top of a dry stone wall.
  • Sweet-smelling, bright yellow-orange flowers borne in spring. Many other colour forms available.
  • Early nectar source for many flying insects including White Butterflies.
  • Foliage can be damaged by caterpillars and flea beetles but should be tolerated.
  • Bee and bumblebee plant.
